Dedicated to the memory of Marion Baldwin

Marion was born on 11th October 1944 in Glasgow, daughter of George and Molly. A few years later, her younger brother Alex was born and by this time, they all lived in London.

Upon leaving school, Marion worked at Barclays Bank and in 1963 met her beloved husband Terry Baldwin whom she married on 5th March 1966. Whilst living in London and Kent they had 4 children Sonia, Paul, Stuart and Esther. In 1984 they relocated to Devon to get out of the London rat-race buying a large farmhouse in a hamlet in North Devon. They refurbished the farmhouse to become the loving family home they wanted for their children. In 1985, Marion's final child Terri was born.

In 1996, they relocated to South Devon where Marion worked in various positions in the local area, finally retiring from Paignton Hospital at the age of 70. Whilst living in South Devon, Marion found out she had a half sister from her father's previous marriage. She was able to meet her half sister Shirley before Shirley sadly passed away.

After retiring, Marion enjoyed holidays abroad with family, finding a particular love for The King Jason in Paphos where she returned many times. She enjoyed playing bingo online, as well as many different games on her phone and laptop which were always permanently attached to her!

Marion was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, cousin and friend. She is very much missed and will never be forgotten. Now reunited with her one true love.
